When I see a roof like this in New York – and there aren’t many – I always stop and have a little moment of “Oh! Hello there!” appreciation.

The color contrast in the second photo is amazing, with the green roof against the blue-looking glass in the background. Plus, I love the old-versus-new feel. The modern building in the back, the oldish one in the middle and that little satellite peeking up in the foreground. Very elegant photo.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to take pictures of chickadees and finches fighting over the bird feeder. It’s a bloodbath out there, but nobody ever said documenting war was easy.
This is the building right next to the Scientology “org” in New York – !! lol – the one where Alex and I got trapped in the basement by two cult members moving in for the hard sell (because of course that’s a normal thing to happen).
