    Yes. This is one of those books I referenced in the post above. I’ve only read it in French, and the first sentence sounds much better in French than in English.

    Yeah I think it says “Maman” or something. It’s been a while since I’ve seen it in French, but yes. I agree. In English it’s so matter-of-fact. In French it seems to drip.
