You deserve a break today

You also deserve to be very very VERY scared of photos such as these.

My particular favorite? The one of her sitting on the beach, staring longingly at the sunset. It is truly psychotic.

Please click. And be prepared for the fear.\

  1. Bill McCabe says:

The real shame is that she looks like she might be cute.

  2. red says:

The one of her posed up against the huge Ronald doll is so scary and so funny.

  3. peteb says:

You forgot to mention the nightmares still to come..

That menu photo will haunt me for years.

  4. peteb says:

Ermm.. that’s ‘menu’ as in the one on the left of the page.

  5. JFH says:

Channeling my immature college days (Uhh, make that my VERY immature college days ‘cus my wife says I still haven’t crossed that “mature” threshold yet):

Hey, I’d do her… except that I have coulrophobia.

  6. Popskull says:

That Bjork is sure one crazy mutha.

  7. MikeR says:

Maybe she’s not really psychotic – she could be some sort of extreme performance artist trying to make a statement about the socio-political ramifications of the ubiquitous entanglement of globalized commercial enterprises with the modern nation state…

  8. mere says:

did you read the comments on that site? they all have pictures..

  9. wutzizname says:

Reading the comments, she seems friendly and polite enough.

Upon seeing it for the first time, I hesitated on several points:

    1. She went to all the trouble of decorating the site in a way that would make the McDonald’s Corporation/Conglomerate/Whatevathefulk’s human resources department run in sheer terror.

    2. She made/ordered/found this costume for the sole purpose of making whatever creative expression this is. I’m not sure if she is actually saying that she Loves McDonald’s, so much as she’s possibly demonstrating a unique sort of fetish. (Y’know, like the furries?)

    3. She looks disturbingly cute when you look past the frightening clown outfit, which might be my own issue.

She does however make a gesture of putting up a different image once a week, which is a sign of dedication. I may not truly understand why she’s doing it, but admittedly, I was frightened at first.

Eegads, I hope that she isn’t luring people in to their doom, or anything….

  10. susie says:

Wow – I think she’d be fatter than she is? Maybe she doesn’t eat the food?

She should get together with this guy:
    http://www.pixyland.org/peterpan/
    They could party.

  11. Emily says:

OH FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, NOT THE PETER PAN GUY. AAAAAAHHHHHHHH.

  12. Mr. Lion says:

$20 says she’s hiding a very large knife behind her back in several of those photos.

    Shiver.

  13. Laura says:

Still not as bad as Paula Abdul’s outfit.

  14. skinnydan says:

That’s just disturbing. But the Peter Pan guy will probably give me nightmares for months.

There’s a point where “harmless fantasy” elides right into “creepy”, and I think Mr. Neverneverland has crossed that line.

  15. annika says:

Lol! How do you find this stuff?

  16. Alex says:

I will never forgive you for showing me this, Sheila. Not ever.

  17. Barry says:

But if she posts pictures of herself posing with six small frightened children standing next to a sewer drain….there may be trouble ahead.

  18. Emily says:

    Alex,
I’m planning revenge myself. I mean, as if the David Hasselhoff thing wasn’t bad enough.

  19. Chris says:

I find myself repeatedly drawn back into it and I’m at a loss to explain why. It’s both ghastly and mesmerizing. Remember the first time you saw the “Odessa Steps” sequence? It’s like that, but with clowns.
