Gusti Wieghardt tells us a teacher is said to have written of a 7 year old Jewish boy, he ‘shows all the characteristics of his race.’ On the other hand a Catholic teacher at the Benno Grammar School is said to have credited a small Jewish boy with ‘especially fitted for the community.’ ”
