The wonderful SageOne has chosen me to sit in his latest hot seat, (the ever-enjoyable Wisdom for the Masses interview series).

So here it is. I'm not sure I can claim to have any "Wisdom for the Masses" but still: it was a compliment to be asked.

He asks cool questions, and you also should check out the other bloggers he's interviewed.

The over-riding sensation I get when reading over everybody's answers is: Damn. People are great.

I was also thrilled to learn that SageOne is a crazy Red Sox fan, as am I. Once a Red Sox fan, always a Red Sox fan. I have lived all over the country, and now I live in the monolithic republic of the New York Yankees ... which is a bitter pill to swallow at times ... but there is a kind of bruised pride in sticking with the Red Sox. Dennis Leary said, "You must embrace the Red Sox curse. You have to fall in love with the curse, and you have to fall in love with getting your heart broken every year."

That just about sums it up.

So it was an honor to be interviewed by another die-hard Fenway Park-er.
