Jeff Jarvis takes a look at the headlines of some major newspapers, and calls it "the land of no news".
I know that when I sign on to Yahoo News and see, on display:
1. a photo of Lara Flynn Boyle's skeletor charms2. a close-up of the "I'm sorry I was such a bad boy, Mommy" ROCK on Kobe Bryant's wife's finger
and
3. the ass of an Uruguayan (and quite a nice ass, I might add)
that I am living in the land of Oz right now ... where reality, somehow, is not being acknowledged.
The niceness of the Uruguayan ass is immaterial.
THESE are the pictures being featured at the moment.
Yeah, like Jeff Jarvis points out, it must be a slow news day.
An added-on comment: One quick thing for any "clueless types" out there (Sisyphus? Hm?) who might not pick up on the signals: read this post as sarcasm. After all...there were a couple of minor newsworthy events yesterday ...
However: as I said: that does not take away from the Uruguayan beauty.
