Beauty

Sheer beauty.

I've got the blues today. My voice is on mute. But that collapsing ice wall is awe-inspiring, and I wanted to post it.

Also, came across an amusing quote. Here it is:

"You mean, like a book?" - Justin Timberlake, when asked for the best thing he read all year

Justin does not have time to read an actually book. He is much too busy being a pop star. You know, rehearsing, performing, bodice ripping - that takes up all your time.

Had to be done.

Hope you shake them naughty blues in short order.

Justin continues: "do the ones with the colorful pictures count?"

Justin's favorite "book" is the take-out menu at his local sushi place. He loves to read that.

Of course he can't read. He wasn't programmed to do so. He's a dancing singing androgynous andriod.

But he can spell.

I love Justin with a passion i haven't felt since my Scott Baio obsession. Shameful? maybe.
Delicious? definitely. Those of us who shake our tail feathers at dance clubs..know the power of "Rock Your Body". Try to resist..i dare you!
And that includes u..JSwift

Mitchell -

Ah, I remember the day when you admitted your Charles in Charge mania. I swore to keep it a secret, and so did Ann Marie - and I hereby swear to continue to keep that secret - even though I just blurted it out on my blog.

J Swift: You should know something: A lot of my college friends post here, and the chairperson of our theatre department in college was named Judith Swift. She was terrifying, and also hilarious. Many of my friends have said to me, "Oh my God! I saw that Judith was commenting on your blog!!" But I do no think that you are she. Are you? I thought that you might be using that name as a hat-tip to the creator of Gulliver.

So anyway, if you get any random emails from people saying, "Judith! Member me! You had me in acting class in the late 80s..." that should explain it.

Posted by: red at March 16, 2004 4:34 PM

i just assumed it was Judith!! funny! My love of Justin is soo much deeper than my love for Baio...i think its the real thing! Even Dratchie admittd to me that when Justin was on SNL..all the girls were cynical about him..until they worked with and fell in love him..it even inspired a sketch to that effect...oh god..i'm a total lunatic!

HAHAHAHA

"I think it's the real thing."

You know what's real?? That is an assholic thing to say!

But then again, mi-too - here's this:

I had a phone conversation with Kate after I saw the new Albee play, with Bill PUllman and Mercedes Ruehl. So amazing.

Kate calls me, we talk for awhile, she asks me how I am doing.

I say with ponderous seriousness: "Kate. I am deeply .... deeply...." (long long long pause) "in love with Bill Pullman."

Maybe we could double date sometime...Justin's schedule is crazy right now..but maybe this spring. Sushi? Martini's..something mellow.
Oh..btw..went to see Pat last night...so many young people..Pat ages but his audience stays the same age??!!! There was the cutest young gayboy(who did a hilarious imitation of that Cranberries singer.."Zombie,Zombie")..and he was with his beautiful galpal..they danced all the new crazy Pat dances and i was so nostalgic for our time...the graduating class of '95? He says hello..he said the funniest thing about Liza Minelli..a hoot!

It is a hat tip to Jonathan Swift. I am reading his stuff now. But I can also be a smart ass, though I try to be an intelligent one. I am also working on poetry. So I have a lot in common with Mr. Swift.
