"There's more to life than a little money, you know. Don't you know that? And here you are. And it's a beautiful day."
Posted by sheilaFargo. One of my all-time favorites. Masterful on so many levels. Can't watch it too many times. And the accents: You betcha!

I love the weeping Chinese classmate. "You're a super lady!!!"

And what a wonderful ending: "We're doing OK Norm." Or something close to that. Gotta love Margie.
Oh yeah, one more (hard to stop): "You find something Margie?" "Nope. Think I'm gonna puke."

Posted by: Stephen Silver at May 26, 2004 9:59 PMRoger Ebert once said that normally he doesn't like scenes that don't relate to the story or advance the story, but he made an exception for the "super-lady" scene.
Fargo may be the only movie where a woman is pregnant and doesn't give birth during the movie.
