Are you aware ...

that there is a statute of limitations on the phrase "Oh, yeah?" - when used in an argument? Like: "Oh yeah? Well, what about when you forgot to blah blah blah..."

Read this post from Barefoot Kitchen Witch - who just had a new baby - and LAUGH.

I like this:

I went out and started a wine collection yesterday. Ta-da. Oh, the humor that arises when you are toting a two-week-old in a Baby Bjorn carrier and pushing a shopping cart with eventually 32 bottles of wine up to the register. The UPS driver behind me in line, who was buying a case of Heineken (he apparently likes the taste of skunky beer) asked if I was making up for lost time, or something like that.

Hee hee.

But the whole thing is pretty damn funny - so go read.

To bad there is no blog from the other side, where the recipient talks about how these outbursts occur only when he is trying to finally go to sleep after a full day of work and some trying to relieve Mom for a while with the baby, dinner, playing with the other child... blissful, restful sleeeeeeeeepppp...

I pretty much get his entire point of view from how she writes it. :) It's more humorous that way, cause you can fill in the blanks.

I hadn't known about the statute of limitations on "oh yeah?" Crazy married people.

I remember when I was dating my first boyfriend and I would suddenly get ENRAGED at something that had happend a week before and ... I would have to remind myself of the statute of limitations.

I seem to recall there was a moment in Friends like that ...

Chandler saying lamely, "What can I say. I was drunk and I was in someone else's unconsciousness."
