You learn something new every day

As seriously interesting as I find all that, it also can't help but make me hear, in the back of my head, the distinctively enunciated voice of Mako as the Wizard:

Between the times when the oceans drank Atlantis and the rise of the Sons of Aryas, there was an age undreamed of, and unto this, Conan, destined to bear the jeweled crown of Aquilonia upon a troubled brow. It is I, his chronicler, who alone can tell thee of his saga. Let me tell you of the days of HIGH adventure...

Exactly Dave...

Anyway - I've got bigger fish to fry than old Manetho now. It seems we have a hurricane headed our way. Which means I get to blog like crazy about meteorology for a couple of days. Geek paradise!

Oy, yes, weather. Don't remind me (as if reminder were necessary) that Tropical Storm Bonnie appears to be aimed directly at my apartment.
