So this story about naked anchorwomen reminded me of the following post by Mike Toole ... which you must read. It's from last year, but that doesn't matter. It still makes me laugh like a maniac.

Posted by: red at August 12, 2004 3:22 PMI'm not sure I can defend this rigorously (or would want to), but I've always felt that grafitti written on advertisements such as billboards is not as ethically wrong as grafitti written on permanent surfaces.
Of course, there's stupid grafitti and not so stupid grafitti. I remember reading the intelligent grafitti written on billboards where college students hang out a lot when I was younger. Once, amongst a bunch of typical college stuff, someone had spray-painted a gang symbol, and someone else, in ballpoint pen, had written words to the effect of "Get some real grafitti, you subliterate jerk."
Anyway, there is something soothing about Naked News...

But then ... you have the blackened tooth and devil horns variety as well.
I just like Toole's ruminations on what it would actually be like to watch a news broadcast with "jiz" coming out of someone's nose ...
