Truman Capote, "Breakfast at Tiffany's"

I remember after I finished reading this (I was sitting in a carrel in the library where I was going to grad school), I just put my head on the desk and cried. (The movie is totally different. It's good, but it's not the same story. You can enjoy both if you consider that they're two different stories, perhaps with characters of the same name, but parallel universes).
