One of my dearest friends in the world, Brett Penney, has been performing his one-man adaptation of Christmas Carol in the Rockville, CT Dickens' Day festival for about 10 years now, to great great success. I'm very proud of him.
Anyway, just in case any of my readers are from Connecticut (or Rhode Island, or anywhere else nearby in a New England sense) and are interested in checking him out (and all the other events they have lined up - it looks like there's lots of fun stuff for kids) - here is the website for the Festival.
It takes place on Saturday, December 11, 2004 from 10 until 4:30 pm.
I hope to drive up there with some friends to revel in Brett's creation. He really is a marvel.
