As we all know, Pearl Harbor was attacked on December 7th, not 8th. Here is a tidbit about the newspaper coverage on the actual day of the attack. I know it, because it involves my home state, Rhode Island.
what a sad, sad day.

Posted by: j swift at December 7, 2004 5:48 PMIt is always bracing to read the reportage from when pivotal events actually happened. That visceral sense is truer than inevitable decades of revision.
