Posted by sheilaThe bitter waiter reminds me of a couple of encounters that my sister (a big movie buff) had with some smart-mouthed video store clerks. Once she asked a clerk if the store had Breathless directed by Goddard, and the clerk replied, "Oh, is that who it's directed by?"
Another time she was in the mood to watch a stupid movie, so she browsed around, found a stupid movie, and took it up to the front. After the clerk had checked her out, he said, "You have this movie for five days, so you can watch it over and over and over and over and over and..."
