Posted by: RightGirl at September 1, 2005 10:52 AMThat photo always gets me becuase of the Unit patch on his chest. It says "Spetznaz", the Russian Army's Special Forces. Imagine the guy wearing a Green Beret, and you see what impacvt it has for Russians.

The picture always struck me - because he obviously is immensely strong - but look at the gentleness on his face, and how gently he holds the baby. His huge hands look almost delicate in this context. It's just heart-wrenching.
