A convergence

My mom just had a series of paintings in an art show. I just got the photos of her specific 'wall' and thought I would post a couple of them.

Not only do the photos look great, yay, Mum!! - but on today - of all days - the photos just fill my heart with excitement and awe!! Are we actually here again??? Argh!

All will become clear when you click below.

Who's in the middle picture? Who's the player jumping up in the air???

Despite how I feel about the subject matter, I still offer my hearty congratulations to your mother. She's very talented! :)

I'm seriously going to stock up on some Mylanta for the post-season. I think I have the beginnings of an ulcer from the regular season. I know for sure that I have a few more gray hairs. Assuming we both get there, I don't think I can handle another ALDS with you guys. It could very well kill me.

russ - I believe it is Bellhorn. I remember the Sports Illustrated cover of that moment - with Bellhorn flying through the air.

The player jumping is Belhorn...obviously from last season.

Nice pics. I wish someone had told me about this exhibit, I would have gone. Oh well. 39 minutes until the game. I'm going nuts.
