The title of that post I'm linking to is the truest thing I've read all day!!!
Posted by sheilaSheila, on an entirely unrelated (other than it's hilarious)topic, have you seen this?
Posted by: Cullen at October 3, 2005 3:32 PMcullen - hahahahahahahaha
yes. I have seen it. is that just SO FUNNY???
Posted by: red at October 3, 2005 3:33 PMYes. I read it yesterday and just felt that I had to share. How much like a 16-year-old does she sound? "What's wrong with partying, anyway?"
Posted by: Cullen at October 3, 2005 3:34 PMI love the quote where she says, "I think I need to just get one more great movie role so people can go 'She's a great actress.'"
I have to say that: One MORE great movie role, Tara?
And the other great role would be ....
Posted by: red at October 3, 2005 3:34 PMHere's a funny one from an actor I respect:
Nic Cage gives birth to Superman:
Oscar-winning actor Nicolas Cage is a new father.
His wife, Alice Kim Cage, gave birth Monday to a boy, Kal-el Coppola Cage, in New York City, said Cage's Los Angeles-based publicist, Annett Wolf. No other details were available.
Message to Tara, nothing's wrong with partying. But when you start to get a reputation for it - that's when you are in trouble. Just like in high school, dear. That stuff STICKS to you. I just had my high school reunion this summer, Tara, and believe me - people REMEMBER that stuff. So there's very little you can do now, because you have shown yourself to be a boozy wastoid time and time again. You are out of control. My advice? Stop falling down in a drunken stupor on the steps of random nightclubs, showing off your panties ... and maybe people will stop laughing at you.
Posted by: red at October 3, 2005 3:38 PM"slopes and shit"
hahahahahahahahahahahaha.
as someone who teaches a math-related course (statistics), that just makes me laugh.
(At least she KNEW that trigonometry involved "slopes and shit.")
"So, ricki, what did you teach them today"
"Oh, you know...statistics. Variance and shit."
Posted by: ricki at October 3, 2005 3:58 PMricki - i know!! that she at least had the wherewithal to understand it was in the realm of "slopes and shit"
That just KILLS ME
I'm on my way to Slopes 'n Shit 103.
Posted by: red at October 3, 2005 3:59 PMHowdy, wet blanket, here... "slopes 'n shit" is really much more algebra than trig.
Posted by: JFH at October 3, 2005 4:28 PMNot so much a wet blanket as comedically tone-deaf and a total feckin' buzzkill.
But yeah. A wet blanket too.
Go away.
Posted by: red at October 3, 2005 4:32 PMSheila,
When I saw that Tara Reid thing this weekend, I totally thought about you. HELLO! You hosted a "Wild On..." series for the E! Channel and you think it's unfair that you've been branded as a party animal? How clueless can you be?
I loved the line from Go Fug..."when you make Paris Hilton look like Grace Kelly, you KNOW you've got problems."
Posted by: Emily at October 3, 2005 4:39 PMhahahaha exactly!!!
Her publicist has his hands full. Oh wait - isn't her publicist Lizzie Grubman? Now that's a match made in heaven!!
