This is so harsh. But I relate. And of course it happened on the 6 train. Of course it did. You probably wouldn't have an encounter like that on the N or the R.

It's so honest. I so relate to her. I have felt such things, but rarely said them. And often - I feel such things on the 6 train. The 6 train, for whatever reason, seems to be filled with people who have a sense of entitlement.

On the 1 or the 9, or the N or the R - it's every man for himself. It's crowded, you're jostled - no one gets special treatment.

But the 6? Different story.

How funny is it that the train for the "people who have a sense of entitlement" is headed for the upper east side, while the trains for the "every man for himself/no special treatment" are headed for the upper west side? Just an observation.
