"I had climbed onto the Moral Slip-n-Slide, and slippery it was indeed"

Amazing post (great writing!!) about plagiarism. I highly recommend you read it. (I mean, I highly recommend you read that blog, in general. I love it.)

But that's one damn fine post. Well done.

It is a good story. The comments are interesting too. But I disagree with the commenter who said that the Sharks and Jets couldn't have been conceived without the Capulets and Montagues and that the Greeks laid everything out so that everything is copied. It's true that the same stories get told over and over. It's because human nature is universal and unchanging. That's why people enjoy reading those old myths - they resonate because people have not changed since Ovid's day. These never-changing stories really are art imitating life. I seriously doubt that the Hatfields and McCoys, for instance, were students of Shakespeare.

Sorry, I know this was OT.
