Beautiful images of her here. Woman of a million looks. Not just this one, the one she will always be remembered for:

In one word, GLAMOROUS! In an age of cropping and computer enhancement...this woman buries them all. I especially loved the last one...great light angle!!

Nobody remembers poor Fay Wray, but she was a wonderful Star. Maybe no Hepburn or Davis, but a memorable Actress when cast within her range. Besides KONG, there was MOST DANGEROUS GAME, DIRGIBILE (Capra), DR.X, and MYSTERY OF THE WAX MUSEUM. As her Star Power was in decline, she made two terrific B Films: BULLDOG JACK (in Britian), and IT HAPPENED IN HOLLYWOOD. I hope you've had the luck to catch them and her charming performances.
Fay Wray...damn, it's not ALL about the literature. Our mythologies come from many places. And we're richer for all their gifts, large and small.
