Boy could he act! The facial expressions
were amazing.
I believe that that is Jean Harlow with him - so I'm guessing it's from Suzy - when Cary Grant was playing second lead!! He had one more year of second lead status before leaping to the big time with Sylvia Scarlett.

Posted by: JFH at July 25, 2006 3:56 PMNot wacky about it - although, of course, I watch it any time it's on television, and I own it. Cary Grant felt bullied into that performance by Capra. He didn't like himself in that film. Neither do I.
But whenever it plays at some little movie house here in NYC - the line goes around the block. So I know it is well well loved.
