I still have time

Check this out!!! I missed The General which is a bummer - but I still have a lot of things to choose from. Best part? They have a live piano player there to accompany the movies.

Oooh! I love this! I remember going to something similar when I lived in Seattle. Huge theatre, orchestra in the pit, Lillian Gish or Buster Keaton or Charlie Chaplin up there on the screen. It was sheer heaven. You'll love it.

Good Lord, woman. I knew about this and I'm 1,500 miles away. I assumed you had heard about it. Looks like I'm going to have to take control of your social calendar from now on.

HA!! I wish you had, Mark - then I wouldn't have missed The General, which is my favorite!!

Even dumber: I get their newsletter. But somehow I missed the Buster Keaton memo.

From now on, I'll be sending annoying e-mails telling you what movies to see. It's for your own good, really.

You're currently scheduled to see Steamboat Bill, Jr. tonight at 7:40; don't be late.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Sheila,
That is awesome. Not only do you get to see Buster Keaton at a theater with a live piano player, but you now have a personal assistant directing things for you remotely from 1,500 miles away. Now if only I could find a remote assistant to magically complete the remodeling of my bathroom and kitchen and then clean up my place, all would be right with the world.

Maybe Mark could hire himself out as a freelance remote-assistant.

"Dude - I know you love John Wayne - just found out TMC is having a John Wayne festival next week. I've blocked out time for you every night."

Etc.

So, now I'm a TiVo. The sad part is that it's something I'd be amazingly qualified to do.

*Bloonk!*
