Happy place

I have a bunch of stills from River of No Return - especially from this particular scene - but the one below is my favorite. It's hot. He's hot. In general.

hahaha Yeah - it's one of THOSE situations.

"No! No! NO! oh ... oh ... okay ... okay ..."

Preminger was a bastard to her (I'm sure you know more about it than I do!!) - but I think she gave a nice simple dramatic performance in this movie, despite being terrified of him.

Yes, I had heard about this exhibition because... hmmm... I happen to be a member of a mailing list from France (my craziness about Marilyn spans the nations, hahaha) and several of its Parisian members have posted information and pics about this exhibit. Needless to say, I would KILL to be there!! :)

I have Bert Stern's "Complete Last Sitting", with the 2,000+ photos he took of our girl, but sadly many of them are pretty small. It would be a blast to see bigger-sized versions of this beloved photo session.
