montage of Screaming faces

... For Halloween.

You'll recognize a lot of them.

Alex has gone all out. That must have taken FOREVER. She's the horror flick queen, much to Chrisanne's dismay (ha) ... but go check out the images she's found.

What's the one with the doctor and the man with the spider-looking thing on his face?

I love love LOVE Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? Bette Davis creeps me OUT!

"But ya ARE, Blanche, ya ARE!"

Genius!!

And I don't know what that horrible picture is - I didn't recognize it. I didn't recognize a lot of them. Who's the girl at the bottom of Part 2 - with the blonde hair - and the red dress??

Posted by: red at October 31, 2006 2:13 PM

Is that "The Bad Seed"? Looks like the little girl, but I thought that movie was in B&W.

Posted by: Lisa at October 31, 2006 2:17 PM

And what the hell is that terrifying white one with the kid in bed with the creepy clown?

Posted by: red at October 31, 2006 2:19 PM

That one's Poltergeist.

If you were a person not afraid of clowns before you saw that movie, you certainly were afterwards.

Posted by: Lisa at October 31, 2006 2:25 PM

Oh damn. I actually DID see Poltergeist. And so, uhm, I obviously blocked it out.

The picture of Elsa Maxwell is fantastic - and I love the one of Tippi Hedren too.

Isn't the spider on face picture from Alien? Gotta love Linda Blair looking off wistfully...

...or is she looking up at the attic...noises?

Yeah, and somebody with both coulrophobia(irrational fear of clowns) and automatonophobia(irratinal fear of ventriloquist dummies)... this was the PERFECT movie for me!

I think that any child's toy that comes to life needs to be shot immediately.

How 'bout Trilogy of Terror?

Member that freaky little doll?

Posted by: red at October 31, 2006 4:59 PM

Okay, I'll bte: What the heck is the last one? From Alex's comment, I sense snark in the Force. :-)

Posted by: Ken at October 31, 2006 5:07 PM

Ken - you know what? I think you're right! I looked at the URL of the image -and it's startrek.com something, something ... so I do believe Alex may be joshing us.

That little girl does have a creepy face though, doesn't she?

I hate it when horror movies make children so scary. Like Damien. He is a child, but I would willingly toss him off a bridge, because he is evil and he freaks me out.

So, I did a little Google-foo. The image is from a Star Trek Voyager episode with a character called Suspiria. ( http://www.startrek.com/startrek/view/library/character/bio/1115269.html) However, there is a classic horror movie also called Suspiria (the ST ep has to be a reference - I've never seen the movie, but have seen the ST episode... I'm a Star Trek geek too). (http://www.imagesjournal.com/issue05/infocus/suspiria.htm)

Its either Alex grabbing the wrong image, or playing a huge joke on us all....

Posted by: melissa at October 31, 2006 5:19 PM

Ha!

Yeah, it's totally a joke then. Alex is a huge star trek geek.

Posted by: red at October 31, 2006 5:24 PM

and she's got part 3 up now!
