And this is why the Chronicler always wears concealing monkish robes.

Number one, they are always in fashion, no matter what millennium it is.

Number two, they prevent ridicule when I am tempted to break out my warm, comfy, and hopelessly outdated sweaters. (Quoth my nearest and dearest: "Cliff Huxtable called. He wants his pullover back.")
