Her scene in the hospital bed with her hair tangled and the rattling voice of Mary Wickes in the backround drumming her own words into her head is really fascinating.
I loved re watching Shirley's skill at monitoring her own steadiness. Ya know? Like she's TRYING so HARD to be OPEN, and yet it all comes out so completely Motherly.
Just beautiful.
