Harses, harses, harses ...

(First of all: please name the movie that quote comes from! My sister Jean will know since we quote it all the time: "Harses, harses, harses, harses ...")

Anyway. Speaking of harses: Breathtaking!! Look at those wild things! Beauty!

Wow. Those are BEAUTIFUL. One of my most favorite things in the world to watch is at my parents' place, when they let the horses out of their stalls (they only have two, so it doesn't look anywhere near as cool as the pictures you linked) and they just go charging towards the grazing plane. They really are very stunning creatures.

(P.s. is the "harses, harses..." thing a reference to Meg Ryan singing in her car Sleepless in Seattle?)

Emily - yes!! You're brilliant! Harses, harses, harses ...

And yeah - just stunning those wild horses. Amazing. I love the picture of the little girl just standing there, staring at them.

Wow. It's amazing to see wild horses, when what you're used to is thoroughbreds. Their heads are so large compared to their bodies. But horses are horses and the ballet of their movement is wonderful. The only thing that can't be conveyed by those terrific pictures is the thunderous sound that their running makes.
