CW has more. (If you're interested in such things - look over in his right nav and he has a whole series of posts on the missing 727.) CW's one of my best old blog-buddies. His site, in general, is packed with interesting things (Pan Am!). But his ongoing Missing 727 investigation is really something to follow.
Posted by sheilaI don't know what it is that makes this story so irresistible, but every time you link to it, I feel compelled to re-read the entire history.
And I still can't believe that no one's ever made a movie about a jetliner repo man.

Posted by: red at April 3, 2007 10:54 PMThe missing 727 story is going to be a movie at some point before too long, but the airplane repo man won't be in it. It's going to be based on the book _By Order of the President_, which is a fictionalized version, but not unrelated to the blog.
There is still an opportunity out there, for a screenplay about an airplane repo man. I can tell the story, but don't know how to write a screenplay.
We're still missing the ending, however.
