i'm on the same page you are. i've seen almost every one of those, and i remember them well.

Ohmigod, THE BOATNIKS! I haven't thought of that movie in YEARS. Robert Morse! Phil Silver!

When I was little, probably 1st or 2nd grade, our old vauldevillian theater showed movies on Saturday mornings for, like, 50 cents. My brother and I went every week. I have a very VIVID memory of Lt. Robin Crusoe, USN, starring Dick Van Dyke.

But my favorite was The Ghost and Mr. Chicken. I think I might have peed myself, I was so scared. I still try to work in "Not even with Bon Ami!" into any conversation I can.

Man, I think I saw every movie on that list, as well as a few that were not. Am I the only one who remembers Gus, the football kicking mule? I even remember the word that made him kick: "Oyage!"

Ah The Computer Who Wore Tennis Shoes... I believe there was a series of movies starring Kurt Russell as Dexter Rielly... Hold let me look 'em up

YES! Along with The Computer Who Wore Tennis Shoes, there was Now You See Him, Now You Don't and The Strongest Man in the World... Poor Dexter, I'm pretty sure lightening was involved in all of these causing him to have a brain like a computer, invent a spray that made you invisible, and a cereal that made you super strong.

Strangely, each time he and his friends were trying to save the school from closing. Geez, just let the school close!!

I loved all those movies. Kurt Russell has been one of my faves since I saw Computer Who Wore Tennis Shoes at age 8 or whatever it was. I remember it vividly - I am gonna put it on my netflix queue right now - I would love to see it again.

The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes was one of my favorite movies EVER! I fell in love with Kurt Russell. I thought he was the dreamiest movie star ever.

And please, the moment when he finds out how to multiply and divide by using only his eyes.

Best scene in the movies. Period.

What's truly astonishing is that someone in the comments section of that post has never heard of "The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes." Must be a millenial.
