Father's Day

A Father's Day post - involving John Ford - that made me cry. What a character study of a father ... I just totally GET it from the description.

Thank you, siren - you have no idea how much I needed to read something like that today.

Thanks so much, S. I treasure any link from you not just because of traffic, but because of my own admiration for your blog. Hope Father's Day treated you well.

Were I to speak now, I might sound like I'm coming down with a cold myself. I have yet to see the movie, but I've read the book twice.

Campapse - your blog is so wonderful. :) My only complaint is you don't post enough!!

Seriously - beautiful post, and a clear vivid portrait of your father. Got me all choked up.

Ken - ha. I know what you mean. I got choked up too. But I'm sure it was just the pollen count in the air or something. Ahem.

:)

Yeah, the pollen. That's the ticket. ;-)

Yeah, that pollen sure is thick of late...
