I know the song Marilyn Monroe is probably most known for singing is "Diamonds are a girl's best friend".
But the way she sings "File My Claim" in River of no Return is my personal favorite.

But then, I passionately LOVE the score to "Some Like It Hot", especially "I'm Through with Love". She sings it in a way that makes me feel her pain, but it is so sweet as well. Just lovely.
There, I managed to pick a favorite, after all! ;)

What I love about it is that it's so simple, ultimately. She's not over-doing the sexy - she just embodies it. It's like the best burlesque performers.
