OK, it's time to assess just where this obsession rates.

He's well surpassed Russell Crowe and any of the others because I can't even remember them. And, I daresay, he is definitely coming close to Cary Grant. I'm not sure. He may have overtaken him.

What do you think?

Scratch that question, you can not possibly be objective while in the throws of an obsession. I'll have to go back and do some blog research to get an accurate answer.

David - hahahaha I love you, friend. Can't wait for tonight!

Believe it or not, I did do a bit of research because I was curious about it as well.

In terms of Cary Grant - there are 97 entries in that particular "category" on my blog.

I think I'm only at 40 entries for Mr. Stockwell, so I have quite a ways to go.

I wrote a post about this werewolf movie Stockwell did - Here it is - and I kinda touch on what is REALLY going on with me in that post. And why Stockwell has struck such a huge chord.

It's big. And - like with all the other obsessions - it has to do with what's going on with me, in my life, at that moment. Weird. Or no. Not weird.

Literary conceit.

Oh, but by all means: let me know what you come up with with your own research. I'd love to hear your theories.

This is very random, but-
in one of the before-the-feature montages on TCM, the Hopper-esque one with the city scenes, is that your guy on the subway?
I swear it is - in that hands clasped between the knees pose.
Or... it could be James Dean.
Damn.

Aw, I was hoping for Battlestar Galactica Stockwell. :)
