Wow, I'm becoming a big fan of your picture posts, Sheila. I really like your photographic eye! Great shots, all of them, for different reasons... can't choose a favorite!

Posted by: red at October 21, 2007 8:09 PMNice pics, especially the "Respectability" one. When I read what that sign said, my first thought was "too late for me, save yourselves"!
Or don't.

Of course, if the next montage doesn't have "6th Avenue, 8 a.m.," you'll be hearing from the Equal Time for 6th Avenue Association....
Posted by: Ken at October 22, 2007 8:48 AMKen - hahahaha Okay, you know now that at some point I'm going to have to take a photo of 6th ave at 8 am ... I'll have to find a more interesting section of it than the main drag, which is all major corporate entites like the gap and starbucks and barnes and noble and bed, bath & beyond ... there's actually a great section of the street down by the Holland Tunnel when 6th avenue (or: the avenue of the americas) really starts. That might be a good spot for some photos - it's huge and wide open - and looks like a photo from ... er ... Uzbekistan or something - one of those former Communist countries with the huge wide boulevards - that you could never cross without courting death, etc.
