A certain special little boy

is turning 10 years old today. 10? Can it be?? My whole life changed when I morphed from regular old Sheila to "Auntie Sheila". It's a whole new part of my identity now - one that I hold so dear. I can't imagine my life without Cashel!

He has moved on to much more ambitious projects now - with his video camera. He even took a movie-editing class this last summer. But just to show how far he has come, I will link to (yet again) his earlier work.

The much beloved KUNG FOOD GUY series.

Part 1

Part 2 (Please take note of how Pasta Guy's face changes right before he is devoured. He starts out screaming in horror - and then at the last second, he becomes resigned and Zen about it. That's my favorite part.)

Trailer for Part 3

Happy birthday, dear Cashel! You're ten! I can't beLIEVE it.

Happy Birthday, Cashel!!! You'll do us all proud, sir!!! Auntie Sheila, see to it that young man gets a Root Beer with his dinner. He's in the double digits, now. It's high time he had a young man's drink.

Many happy returns indeed, sir. I look forward to more issues of stretchy Colorado, and more episodes of Kung Food guy!

The Cashman is 10!!! He is very excited because he gets to wear his costume all day today...3rd graders have to take theirs off. 4th graders? All day.

His costume? A spooky robe with a very lifelike mask that resembles Gabe Kaplan as a very old man.

His title? The Evil Emperor of Mortgage.

I am not kidding.

The Evil Emperor of Mortgage! OMG! This young man has his finger on the pulse of evil. That's beyond brilliant. That's scary brilliant.

Happy Birthday Prince Cashel.

Happy Birthday, Cashel!!!

I hope you had a great day (I'm late in my wishes... it's the dead of night here in Argentina). In any case, I send you a big hug from the deep south of the continent! :)

I need to see what the Evil Emperor of Mortgage looks like.
Happy Birthday Cashel!!

Happy Birthday to Cashel!

(And on the "Trailer" - that "Coming soon to select cities" is just so awesome...it made me laugh.)

Cashel rules. Most aunts think this way, I'm sure, but even a third party can tell that he's a special guy.
