Comments made to one another tonight while watching "Rambo"

"It appears that Sylvester Stallone has cast the entire nation of Thailand."

"Holy shit, his head just came off."

"Hey, look! That's Ken Howard! The white shadow!"

"I can't believe Stallone is, what, 63 years old? He's incredible."

"Rambo is gonna take care of every single one of those bad guys."

"That Christian nitwit needs to murder someone in order to redeem himself."

"I hope there aren't any big bugs in this movie."

"I am in love with that sniper."

"Sometimes you just need to kill someone."

/Sometimes you just need to kill someone./

If that's not slogan material, I don't know what is!

The whole conversation is a great moment in movie viewdom. Brills, sweetie!

Patrick - I will fill you in! Perhaps I will do some re-enactments. As we swig back maple-syrup-flavored beer!

Stevie - hahahaha I know ... it was so fun! Jen and I love to go see macho violent movies together - it's a great catharsis. We try to get along with our fellow man, in general, but then we go see Rambo and mutter things to each other like, "Oh, that guy is just ASKING to be fucking killed."

Sweet! I love a good cathartic moment myself, especially when it doesn't include tubing of any kind :)

I can't wait to see this. I heard that it's gloriously, cathartically, violent and filled with inventive bad-guy death.
