Looks good from the trailers....

Posted by: Kathy at April 3, 2008 10:48 AMI love it - one word, and explosion, and Harrison Ford. All you need to sell the movie to millions.
Posted by: Emily at April 3, 2008 11:00 AMI am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited. Let me know if you want to go see it. Not sure any of my other friends share in the excitement. I cannot wait.
Posted by: curly mcdimple at April 3, 2008 11:35 AMCurly - it's a total date. Let's do it!!
Posted by: red at April 3, 2008 11:38 AMIt comes out the day before D's 40th birthday, and he's already declared it THE BEST PRESENT EVER.
Posted by: Lisa at April 3, 2008 1:06 PMI wonder if it will open at the Ziegfeld?! I hope so. I love seeing movies there. And, bonus, VERY convenient location for the both of us. Woo hoo, I'm so excited.
P.S. Anyone see Harrison Ford get slimed at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards?! I love that he's doing things like that and the Ben Affleck video. So funny!
Posted by: curly mcdimple at April 3, 2008 1:28 PMCurly - Yes to the Ziegfeld - fingers crossed!
Seeing him in that Ben Affleck video was pure liquid joy. HAHAHA
Posted by: red at April 3, 2008 1:56 PMNormally I avoid opening weekends like the plague. But this? I want to be there with all the freaks and fanatics, because then I will feel right at home.

this is one of the many things i love and admire about you, sheila. i thank God you blog and share it with all of us.
Posted by: amelie at April 3, 2008 3:05 PMWords cannot express!!
Posted by: tracey at April 3, 2008 3:45 PMTracey - HA! I know!!!!
I wish we all could be together to see this movie - but we will just have to teleport ourselves into one another's hearts in order to have some collective generational experience.
If you're up for that, I mean ...
Posted by: red at April 3, 2008 8:02 PMHonestly, I almost suggested to Rick that we change or cancel a visit to his family because it's the opening weekend for this movie, which is on my calendar. I might have to actually see it in Parma. Cannot WAIT.
I usually avoid opening night, too. Indiana Jones? Bigger-than-life adventure? Are you kidding me? The wife and I will be there with two BIG bowls of popcorn.
Posted by: Rob at April 4, 2008 6:00 AMWait... you mean to tell me you guys don't all already have your Collective Generational Experience Teleportation Devices ready to go? Come on, people. This is important.
Sap that I am, I know I'm gonna get a little choked up when I hear that music in a darkened theater...
Posted by: Noonz at April 4, 2008 9:30 AMNoonz - HAHAHA Seriously, where the hell is my Collective Generational Teleport Device when I need it???
Slight correction, Emily - one word, Harrison Ford, and an explosion shaped like a human skull.
Awesome thing, or awesomest thing?
