My review of the Russian film Mongol (which opens today) is now up at House Next Door.

i can say, 'hmmm, cuddly khan w/general human behavior vs. steppes teeming with hordes of mongols baring swords, yea or nay?'
i say 'yea' and yay for you! great job.

The battle scenes and just the scenery itself is SO worth it - it's definitely a big-screen movie.
