Ha!! I know! His wife at the time took that picture because they didn’t have the budget for professional stills. I love it more than the more polished ones – you can feel how cold it is that morning, etc.
Kristen – it’s a really cool book with pictorial representations of women from the Victorian and Edwardian era – all Gibson Girls and stuff like that. Magazine illustrations and cartoons – it’s really cool.
Dan – some truly awesome anecdotes in that book. It’s kind of an oral history of Wayne, all his friends and colleagues just telling stories about him. Not strictly a biography but lots of great stuff.
The framed Rocky poster….I LOVE IT!

Have to figure out where to hang all that crap!
(Also I love that the image is immediately recognizable – even without the “Rocky” title being visible. Now that is iconic!)
this library is going to be insane…do you use the dewey decimal? My friend Kristin actually does in her home!
Ooh … what’s the book next to Lana Turner? The one that says Women. I love the cover.

Looks like a good inspirational view for your desk. Lots of light coming in is a good sign!
That is a terrific work space! Best of luck out there, Sheila.
