These are wonderful!
I suppose I should revise and extend my remarks a bit. There’s a spot on the shore of Lake Erie that looks a lot like that you have pictured here, as the shoreline makes a pretty sharp band from running north-south to northeast-southwest. On windy days, like what you have pictured here, the Erie waters are as turbulent and pounding as any I’ve seen on the ocean. (Hmmm…that’s one spot around here that I’ve never wandered about with my camera.)
Jaquandor – it was such a dramatic-looking day, and the color of the water sometimes looked darker than the sky, sometimes lighter. It was really STARK. Beautiful!! Nothing like living near a body of water, huh??
