What a gather is…it’s a story about a boy and his dog?

Based on this post I checked it out.
Yes, those credits are incredible – could watch them again and again.
The movie – man, I paused it for a bathroom break and realized there was still an hour and a half left, and I couldn’t go on. It’s an incredible accomplishment, but I felt like I had to choose between living out this guys life or living out my own. I may try the rest of it after a sufficient recovery of my spirits.

Scotter – Ha! I know what you mean. It can be a trying movie.

I was totally mesmerized by it – bored at times – but also disoriented, disturbed, and … I couldn’t look away. I have no idea how he did a lot of this (the crazy overhead tracking shots – I’m sure they were miniatures, but … how did he do it??) I’ve never done psychedelic drugs but I imagine that this movie is a little bit what it feels like. And for me the cumulative effect was very emotional. The yearning of the soul for the light – how his consciousness continually seeks out golden circles of light and dives into them … I found that really profound on some level – not really able to write about it yet.
