Who’s the guy in the last photo? :)
Apparently he’s very big around these parts.
I love the streetcars.
It’s eerie how the Lorraine Motel is just right there, smack dab in the middle of everything. We went to it on our first day here. A very intense place. But not at all separated from anything in the neighborhood – I am so impressed with how they just kept it the way it was. Powerful.
Love the photos. Edward Hopper would have liked Memphis.
Excellent unassuming placement of the Lorraine shot. A ‘Whoa’ moment out of left field. Nice.
Wonderful photos, Sheila. I love the moodiness.
Recognising almost everywhere from my own immediate responses every time I’ve visited. Tell me you went to Schwab’s!
Daughter’s applying to Rhodes, which will give me a great excuse to get to Memphis…
