The scene where they take her son away is really hellish. Worse yet if you know the history of what happened to that poor boy after Marie went to the guillotine.

Richard – yes, just a horrifying scene. That young actor is wonderful.
Poor Dauphin. Poor everyone. What happened to him was terrible.
