One of my favorite posters of all time. Definitely in my top five.

I need this on my wall, right now! My dvd copy has that picture, but I’d never seen this version with the writing at the top: “He was 25 years old” etc. Wow.
I’ve never seen Badlands, or the poster for that matter, and seeing the poster here makes me want to rush over to Blockbuster immediately and rent it.
So good!!
Sheila, your poster posts reminded me of a site I stumbled upon about a week ago:
http://spacesick.blogspot.com/2009/01/i-can-read-movies-series.html
They’re a series of fake movie novelization book covers designed by an artist named Mitch Ansara, inspired by 60s movie novelization paperbacks… anyway, I thought you’d dig them!
In this case, the poster accurately depicts what is one of the most beautifully photographed films you’ll ever see.
