\nJoan Crawford got her third (and final) Oscar nomination for her performance in 1952’s Sudden Fear<\/i>, a film I’ve wrote about ad nauseum, here and elsewhere. The film has been restored and is starting a short theatrical run at the Film Forum here in New York<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The noir elements have been discussed to death (and they are magnificent) that I decided to focus only on Crawford’s brilliant performance for my piece on the film on Rogerebert.com:<\/p>\n
