(Next year will be its 40th anniversary.) What I did not know was that it was also going to be shown &#8211; three times &#8211; at the Venice Film Festival (which just happened last month). My pal Glenn Kenny, who was in Venice reporting on the festival, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rogerebert.com\/festivals-and-awards\/venice-2019-restored-classics\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">covered it in one of his dispatches<\/a>. So looks like this project is moving forward, and picking up steam, with people like Chloe Sevigny and Natasha Lyonne &#8211; and me &#8211; let&#8217;s not forget me &#8211; advocating for this brilliant film to be made available again. <\/p>\n<p>I tapped into a zeitgeist without even knowing it.
