\nI reviewed the sequel – sort of – of the 1996 cult classic The Craft<\/i>. It’s toothless. I’ve read a bunch of articles released before the film came out, and it’s all this stuff about how great “female friendship” is. Because this is the stance, the characters have been watered-down. No one is three-dimensional. This keeps happening in the name of the utopia that girls are always awesome to each other, which we all know is not true. It’s just not interesting to have people onscreen who get along all the time. I don’t understand why this is a thing. It’s so boring.
