\nJen and I, headed out to a horror film festival held on Halloween night at the Millennium Film Workshop on East 4th Street. I believe our glasses were our costumes. It was a bitch getting there, I remember, because of the Halloween parade and the general mayhem of Halloween in that area of New York. You had to push through crowds of people just to go 5 steps. You had to struggle against the tide of mummies and ghouls and St. Pauli girls and mermaids. I remember we saw two people making out, pressed up against a building. She was dressed as Olivia Newton John in the \u201cLet\u2019s Get Physical\u201d video and he was dressed as Burger King. Jen and I were dying. In general I hate crowds.
