The pink Cadillac was part of his \u201cbrand\u201d. It was a famous car at the time &#8211; and he knowingly winked at his audience by changing the lyrics to &#8220;Baby Let\u2019s Play House&#8221; (&#8220;You may have a pink Cadillac &#8230;&#8221;). <\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s like Buddy Holly engraving his leather guitar sleeve with lyrics to one of his songs.
