My brother is one of the faithful. A Replacements fan from back in the dark ages of the 1980s, when it was, to say the least, not cool. I love how my brother writes about music so I asked him to write something about The Replacements for my site. Which he did.<\/a><\/p>\n Years passed. <\/p>\n Then, early this summer, my brother was contacted by the producers of upcoming documentary (which, of course, all Replacement fans were aware was in the works – there is no devotion like the devotion of a Replacements fan), and they wanted to interview the diehard fans. The producer had come across that piece written by my brother on my site, and found Brendan somehow through that, tracking him down. They would be coming to LA soon, would he mind being interviewed for the documentary?<\/p>\n Would he mind?? <\/p>\n The filmmakers have been traveling around the country finding the fans who have been carrying the torch for 30 years now. <\/p>\n It would be like a Cary Grant Foundation finding me, and asking me to pontificate on why I love Cary Grant. <\/p>\n There is no expert like the fan. <\/p>\n Watch the trailer.
